School is the greatest institution in my life right now. It affects where I live, how I live, my friends, my views, and definitely my behavior. Officially stated my purpose at The University of Texas at Austin is to graduate in 2009 with a Bachelors of The Arts in Psychology. Now, the relationship between my behavior and my state of mind while I'm performing school related functions is much different then the specifically stated goal of getting my Bachelors of the Arts in Psychology. I tend to think of college as not an option. It is something I have to do; it is the single most important thing. This is always the way I have viewed college. This is my state of mind, but clearly these things aren't true. College is not a must, and It's definitely not the single most important thing. My family, friends, religion, health, and numerous other things are more important than school. My behavior simulates this underlining state of mind which I'm sure my parents and high school teachers helped instill in me. I'm very diligent, focused, always listening, and respectful.
I'm respectful to my professors because that's just how teacher, student relationships work, and I listen to help learn. I follow up with working diligently and trying to stay focused. Not all of these behavioral characteristics are necessary for me to graduate in 2009 with a Bachelors in The Arts in Psychology.
